THEMA MABONENG - Abacothozi
Abacothozi were formed in 1973 by bassist Berthwel Maphumulo together with Mac Mathunjwa on organ, Innocent Mathunjwa on drums, Joe Zikhali on guitar.: "Thema Maboneng" was released in 1975 then forgotten.
Rediscovered by Diggers Extraordinaire Kon & Amir for their much-lauded "Off Track Volume Two: Queens" (3xLP) on BBE Records, now back on Vinyl LP on JAZZ ROOM RECORDS!
