Whitewalls & Harmonies - Jaywalk and The Cadillacs

Whitewalls and Harmonies is the soul-drenched debut album from soul duo Jaywalk and The Cadillacs - weaving elements of hip hop, neo-soul, jazz, and downtempo electronic into a seamlessly resonant whole.

Filled with contributions from a cast of gifted collaborators including Harleighblu, Ke Turner, Frank Nitt, Belle Chen and Laville, the heart of the project is rooted in the creative chemistry between producer-musician Ash Walker and lyricist, producer and musician Illa J (the younger brother of the legendary J Dilla).

Much of the album was conceived during sessions in London, Iceland, and on the road during Illa J’s solo tour—adding a sense of movement and lived experience to the record’s production. Organic studio magic, combined with forward-thinking arrangements, gives Whitewalls & Harmonies a rare depth and cohesion.

The album provides a space to explore and solidify what the Jaywalk and The Cadillac's sound truly represents: raw emotion, refined musicianship, and a genre-fluid approach grounded in soul and experimentation.
