Now in stock: a selection of their titles on vinyl, cassette, and CD.
New Moon — Arc-Rae
New Moon emerged from a period of reflection on the cyclical nature of life and the subtle patterns that shape experience. The record explores how things come and go in ways that are often imperceptible, yet deeply felt.
It’s Always Autumn to Say Goodbye — Hiroshi Ebina
Hiroshi Ebina’s third solo album for Mystery Circles is dedicated to his grandparents, who lived in the same house as him since childhood. His grandmother passed away in 2021 and his grandfather in 2023.
The title refers to their passing in consecutive autumns. The cover image, shot by Ebina on a vintage Contax film camera, shows two distant structures on the horizon — a quiet allusion to his grandparents beyond.
Mita Koyama-cho — Tatsuro Murakami
Mita Koyama-cho offers a fresh perspective on contemporary ambient music, blending acoustic and electronic elements into a rich, evocative soundscape.
Murakami, a multi-instrumentalist, combines acoustic and jazz guitar, saxophone, fretless bass, and an array of keyboards — including vintage synths, Mellotron, and piano.
The result is a fluid fusion of jazz, new age, folk, Brazilian influences, and 1970s progressive textures.
