Description

Vancouver ambient artist Michael Scott Dawson weaves field recordings of spring rain captured on tour in Japan — shrines, city streets, taxis — into minimalist guitar and tape delay. "Kitsune no yomeiri" (the fox's wedding) is a Japanese term for a sunshower; a meditation on memory, language and connection with a soft prairie-western tilt.
