Pakachume - Studio HC Orchestra

A collaboration between producer Adrien de Maublanc and multi-instrumentalist Yonatan Levi, both of Midiminuit. Setting aside Studio HC's wall of modular synths, the pair chased down a double bass, kora, bongos, congas and frame drums instead. The result drifts between minimalism, jazz, chamber music and Afro-Caribbean rhythm, with analog synths used sparingly throughout.
